Sealing gasket (sealing gasket) - auto part, an end seal that fills the space between two or more mating surfaces when compressed, usually used to seal (prevent leakage) at the junction of combined objects. Oil seals and gaskets of the vehicle have their service life, after which they must be replaced. Replacements are also required when parts are repaired, and gaskets and seals may not be reused.
